Welcome to my blog

Welcome and thank you for taking time to visit my blog. I am a life-long learner who believes that each experience is an opportunity to learn and grow.

The idea of starting and running a bilingual blog (English/Polish) came to my mind as a great way to share many interesting observations and experiences that I come across in my professional life as a researcher and court interpreter. I will be mostly writing about criminology-related topics that catch my fancy. As I am fascinated by the socio-linguistic process of interpreting and translating courtroom and police terminology, some of the blog entries will be dedicated to these issues.

My hope for this blog is that it would allow you to find some thought-provoking and helpful information, new ideas, and opportunities to join the conversation. Most of all, feel free to leave a comment or email me if you have any questions. I hope this is the beginning of a lively and engaging dialogue.

All best wishes,

Ania
